It's official. The votes are in.
Ocala, Florida in Marion County has come in first place
for being the creepiest city in America.
Maybe it's the rogue cops. Or the "hangin' judges."
Maybe it's the traffic blitzes.
Hell, maybe it's the manure.
The city of Waldo came in second.
Starke came in thrid.
What's going on in central Florida? Why is it so creepy?
Why is it so poor and backwards?
Why are there so many cops and crooked judges?
Note to drivers on the I-75. One reader writes:
Marion County police will pull you
over near the end of the month in
big groups for even doing a little over the posted speed
limit in an effort to get your money.
-->Avoid driving through Marion County.
Or doing any business there.
It's a shithole. There are even rumors they put tacks
onthe highway so the poor mechanics and
tow-trucks there can make money.
